March 14th at 8 am is LOAD IN. Please help if you can. After sets are loaded in and built we can paint. We will need all the help we can. John sent out a detailed message on remind about this today.

News 2/23/20
Shirts are in! Please come pick them up Monday night from 6:30- 8 PM in the auditorium. If you are not able to do that, pick them up on Tuesday during vocal rehearsal. After that you will need to contact Nicole to set up a time to pick up.
A week from tomorrow you are expected to be off book.
Please continue to review dance videos as refreshers
Dance Review night on Friday the 28th is MANDATORY.
Please purchase your costume pieces and let Nicole know you have received them.
I have a size seven pair of tan character shoes for anyone who may need them for the show.

News 2/18/20
First night of tech you will need a small/medium laundry basket to keep your personal items you need for tech and shows in (you will take this back and forth so we don't leave personal items in dressing rooms) Please start thinking of that now.

This week and next we will start reaching out to committees to make sure we have enough volunteers. Please sign up to volunteer, page is linked here. We need parents to help with hallway decorations.

News 2/15/20: Updated SCHEDULE! We have updated the schedule based on the needs of the show. Dance Rehearsals have been added that are MANDATORY! If you need any additional help please reach out to Mrs. Pinter, John, Becky or Nicole.

Monday there is NO SCHOOL but we will still will have dance rehearsal for FOREVER. The administration approved us to go to Springfield Dance 5531 International Pkwy, Springfield, IL
Remove shoes in the breezeway as the studio requests.

Feb 10- Believer Dance Review at 6:15 lead by Emma and Aili. Encouraged to attend especially if you missed this original rehearsal. May run Story of my Life if time allows. If you need any additional dance help review the clips above and if still need help reach out to dance captains. You are all catching on well.

Reminder: NO BLOCKING REHEARSAL WEDNESDAY!
Please send John any new conflicts you have by Thursday 1/30/2020. (Now-Tech week, You are expected to be at tech rehearsals the week of the show) Please make rehearsal a priority. We understand sickness and emergencies come up. Also, let us know when you will be missing and why by reaching out to Mrs. Pinter (vocals) and John (blocking/choreo).

News 1/25/2020 LOTS OF UPDATES!!!
1.We have sent out INVOICES for shirt orders. ALL INVOICES HAVE BEEN SENT via remind. We ask you pay these by Friday 1/31/2020. You can VENMO, PAYPAL, write checks to John Sivak, cash (bring these to rehearsal) or mail them to 621 S. Lincoln 62704. We do not want to hunt 60 people down for payments.

2. Shrek requires more in costume and make up then some shows. With that said we are doing some fundraising. On Feb 15, 2020 We will be doing a fundraiser from 4-8pm at Chipotle. Tell your family, friends, hang up a poster at school. *we will have posters soon* Share on social media, have your parents, aunts uncles all share on social media. You have to show the flyer on your phone or have a paper flyer for us to get the credit. We are also brainstorming other easy fundraisers to offset the costume and make up costs. If you have any ideas. Please let us know.

3. Wednesday rehearsal is CANCELLED. We have to go look at costumes out of town and availability for this was limited. Use this time to review lines, music, & choreo.

News 1/19/2020 Please Review the Dance Videos on our YouTube channel (link above). We will record them after each dance rehearsal. You guys did a great on Monday. We are taking a break for city tournament for dance and blocking, Next DANCE rehearsal is 1/27. Mrs. Pinter does have vocal rehearsals scheduled next week. Vocal Rehearsal was posted on the website.

We will be submitting the Shirt orders Monday Night (1/20). Get those requests in. After we get a cost breakdown we will send invoices with 7 days to pay.
​
Tap dancers. If we cannot find shoes in your size we will be placing an order soon. If you want tap shoes to keep let us know and we will not order you a pair.

News 1/10/2020 REHEARSALS START NEXT MONDAY the 13th! Please arrive on time and ready to dance. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can dance in (we will worry about shoes for your character in the next few weeks) This is the only rehearsal we will have next week and then the following week we are only working vocals due to City Tournament. Use that time to go over the dance (we will try to record and post it). We have begun getting some costumes and prop pieces. We are excited and hope you are also!

Shrek Shirt orders are due soon! Please complete the order form by January 20, 2020. We will send invoicing and payment due dates once we get a final count and hear back from Miles T-shirts. You can cancel your order after invoicing but we encourage you to make an order as accurate as possible so the price doesn't change after invoicing. Pricing is based on the number of shirts we order.
